Swimming Proficiency Information

Annually we report the % of yr6 children who achieve the following:

• Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
• Use a range of strokes effectively
• Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations

2019/2020 - Due to the COVID-19, Year 6 did not take part in swimming lessons

2018/2019 - 83%

2017/2018 - 87%

2016/2017 - 90%

2015/2016 - 84%
