Mental Health and Wellbeing Resources
From time to time any member of your family may need some support in managing their wellbeing. As a school, we work with a number of organisations who can offer a wide range of support for your child/ children. See the links below or please feel free to speak with either Mrs Robertshaw, Mrs Dalton or Mrs Stokes.
If you have any concerns about your child’s emotional well-being we would advise you to talk to their class teacher in the first instance.
We do believe that your child needs to feel safe and secure in order to learn. Anxieties about learning, worries about their relationships at home or school and life events such as grief and separation can all have an effect.
We are here to support your child and no concern is too small or trivial, so please be in touch.
All members of staff have also completed a Home Office Early Intervention funded course: ‘ACEs
Introduction to Adverse Childhood Experiences’. This has been valuable for staff to gain an insight and an insight into Early Trauma Online and supporting children accordingly.
The Pastoral Team:
Sally Robertshaw (Deputy Headteacher)
Sharon Stokes (Mental Health Champion)
Corinne Dalton (SENCo)
