Year 6 Anglo-Saxon Theme Day

To conclude their Anglo Saxon topic, Year 6 took part in a Theme Day! The morning consisted of finishing off their woven tapestries which were then dyed using natural resources. In the afternoon, Year 6 explored different types of Anglo Saxon crime and punishment – with a few surprise performances from classmates along the way! To round off the day, Year 6 enjoyed some authentic Anglo Saxon food cooked outside. Overall, the was a huge success and the children learnt a lot along the way!
